BELLEVUE PARK

Public BBQ

This park offers a solid mix of facilities for families and active visitors. The level grassy field works well for ball sports, with a dedicated volleyball court and takraw court that sees regular use on Friday evenings and weekends. A walking and bike path connects through to Boronia Reserve, providing a shady route for cyclists and pedestrians. The playground caters mainly to younger children, while fitness equipment serves the exercise crowd. Basketball court and open spaces make it popular for scooters and bikes. Public toilets were added recently, making longer visits more practical. The main drawback is the absence of electric barbecues, which stands out given how busy the park gets on weekends. Some marshy areas near the water look questionable and limit where young kids can safely roam. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with good amenities for a lunch stop or dog walking session.
